KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 3, 2020) — Allegiant begins service today from McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Massachusetts.
Since beginning service nearly 14 years ago, Allegiant opened the door for travelers to experience The Great Smoky Mountains. By establishing TYS as an aircraft base in 2018, Allegiant afforded even more flexibility for nonstop travel options for Knoxville visitors across the country.
The new ultra-low-cost, nonstop flights, which operate twice weekly, will also provide a convenient option for area travelers who need to get to Boston.
Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
“Allegiant Air continues to invest in McGhee Tyson Airport, providing much-needed nonstop air service to popular destinations such as Boston,” said Eddie Mannis, Chairman of the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners. “This new nonstop flight opens a gateway between the majestic mountains of East Tennessee and the rich history found in Boston. With low fares, Allegiant Air makes it easy for New Englanders to sample Southern hospitality while also offering East Tennessee travelers the chance to experience Boston’s world-famous waterfront.”
Allegiant offers a unique option to Knoxville-area travelers with low base fares and savings on rental cars and hotels. Travelers can book their entire vacation with Allegiant for less.
