3:00PM TRAVEL NOTICE: McGhee Tyson Airport experienced an electrical issue that created a partial power outage. The airport’s Department of Public Safety responded and contained the situation. Staff is working with the airport contractors and the City of Alcoa to make repairs. In the meantime, the airport is under restricted operations. Passengers should expect delays in their check in process. Arriving flights have also been impacted. Please check with your airline for specific information on your flight.

Allegiant Air Starts Service to Orlando-International

Allegiant’s nonstop service to/from Orlando-International Airport (MCO) started today! Passengers on this inaugural flight were sent on board with commemorative luggage tags, custom cookies, and (of course!) Mickey ears.

This flight will be offered twice a week (Mondays and Fridays). For specific flight prices and schedules, visit AllegiantAir.com.

It’s also important to note that Allegiant will continue to offer nonstop flights to/from Orlando-Sanford (SFB).

This summer, Allegiant is also starting new service to St. Louis/Mid-America, MO (BLV); South Bend, IN (SBN), and Jacksonville, FL (JAX).
