Beginning at 10pm on Thursday, May 22, until 1am on Friday, May 23, the main airport entrance off 129-South (Alcoa Highway) will be closed for construction. During this time, traffic will be redirected to the Hunt Road exit with signs guiding drivers to the terminal building.
The Alcoa Hwy South On-Ramp (ramp exiting the airport property going towards Blount County) is currently shut down for reconfiguration. Vehicles will be detoured via signage and will exit the airport through the Hunt Road Intersection. Click here to learn more.
On May 21, 2025, Allegiant began service from McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) to Gulf Shores International Airport (GUF) in Alabama!
The new flights will operate up to two times weekly. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.
