With more than 2 million passengers traveling through the airport each year, McGhee Tyson Airport strives to offers unique programs to entertain and accommodate all types of travelers.
Beginning at 7pm on Thursday, May 15, until 2am on Friday, May 16, the main airport entrance off 129-South (Alcoa Highway) will be closed for construction. During this time, traffic will be redirected to the Hunt Road exit, with signs guiding drivers to the terminal building.
Also, the Alcoa Hwy South On-Ramp (ramp exiting the airport property going towards Blount County) is currently shut down for reconfiguration. Vehicles will be detoured via signage and will exit the airport through the Hunt Road Intersection. Click here to learn more.
